Syrian army makes progress in Der Ezzour and kills 60 terrorists

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has ambushed terrorists affiliated to the so-called the ‘al-Sham’ legion and the ‘Shohada’a Idlib’ brigade north of Idlib and has kills 60 ISIS terrorists in airstrike, military sources said Wednesday.

A military source was quoted on the official news agency (SANA) as citing that the ambush was set up on the outskirts of Broma farms near Ma’arret Mesrin town north of Idlib and dozens of terrorists were killed there.

Two terrorists, dubbed Abo Hamzeh Idlib and Abo Mos’ab, were among the terrorists killed in the ambush which also resulted in the destruction of several vehicles and armored car.

Takfiri Terrorists linked to the Saudi-backed the ‘Ahrar al-Sham’ movement and to the Erdogan-backed al-Nusra Front holed up in Broma farms.

In another development, army units in cooperation with security forces and popular defense groups carried out an airstrike against ISIS terrorists in Hwejet al-Mre’a in Der Ezzour city where 60 terrorists, most of them of foreign nationals, died.

Storm operations

Further ISIS terrorists were eliminated as army units stormed their hideouts in al-Jbeleh and al-Sena’a quarters and recaptured important parts in the region.  

Add to that, army units warded off terrorists’ attack from al-Waer quarter and eliminated many ISIS terrorists in Rhom town in the eastern countryside of Homs.

Moving towards the south of the country, army units killed many terrorists affiliated to the al-Nusra Front in al-Hamedeyeh and Em Batneh towns and pounded hideouts plus an arms cache belonging to the front in Mas’hara town in Quneitra countryside.

Army units encircle the terrorist organizations and their supply routes and continue striking their reinforcements in the areas located between countryside of Daraa, Quneitra and the southwestern countryside of Damascus.
