DAMASCUS, (ST)_ Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates confirmed that beside of providing all forms of support to the terrorists gangs “Daesh & Al-Nusra and Al-Qaeda affiliated”, Turkey made a flagrant aggression on the Syrian territory, on Sunday at dawn.
In a statement to SANA, the source said “Turkish Foreign Ministry had informed the Syrian consulate in Istanbul about the Turkish intention to transfer the tomb of Suleyman Shah from Syria.
The source added that Turkey carried out the move without Syria’s consent contrary to procedures usually followed according to the 1921 agreement signed between Turkey and the French occupation authorities back then.
It added that “the suspicion lies in the fact that this tomb has been all along spared the acts of ISIS “Daesh”, which on the other hand, has been destroying mosques, churches and tombs in many areas in Syria.
This “confirms the deep connection between the Turkish government and this terrorist organization,” the source highlighted.
Turkish authorities, by breaching this agreement, will be responsible for repercussions of this aggression, the statement concluded.
