“Social Fund” to Support Survivors of the Terrorists’ Massacres

LATTAKIA, (ST)_ “Dealing with kidnapped persons’ file and survivors of the terrorists’ massacres in northern countryside of Lattakia wasn’t promoted to the required level comparing of their suffering,” stressed minister of Social Affairs Kinda Al-Shammat.

During her meeting with number of survived families and children from armed terrorist groups’ massacres Al-Shammat said in a statement to SANA that the ministry will establish soon “Social Fund” that can accept donations to provide them to the survivors from kidnapping and massacres committed by armed terrorist groups.

Al-Shammat added that there is a big neglect to the psychological support file particularly to the children who faced the practices of these organizations despite of sending more than a team to follow-up these cases.

The ministry will follow-up with the associations that concerned with taking care orphans and children to set up some programs to provide the psychological support to the children and taking care of the elderly people.

It is noteworthy that the armed terrorist groups perpetrated last August massacres against innocent children and elderly people and kidnapped others in northern countryside of Lattakia.
