Lahoud: Syria’s Victory against Takfiri Terrorism Soon, Imperative

BEIRUT, (ST) _ Former Lebanese President Emile Lahoud stressed that the risk imposed on Syria and Lebanon is an Israeli and takfiri terrorism which is two sides of the same coin, noting that Syria is challenging terrorism bravely and will achieve field successes, that make it stronger.

“Lebanon can not alienate itself from repercussions of the events taking place in the region or distance from systematic terrorism, whose evils have no limits or countries,”

Lahoud said, adding that this fact is evidenced by the deployment of these terrorists on Lebanese areas near Arsal and threaten Lebanon and its national army.”

Lahoud explained that the Takfiri terrorism threatens all of humanity, calling on everyone to take the initiative to contribute to the defeat of terrorism in all its forms.
