Bogdanov , Haddad Discussed Developments in Syria , Bilateral Cooperation

MOSCOW, (ST)_ Special Representative of the Russian President for the Middle East and African countries, and Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov  discussed with Syria’s ambassador in  Moscow Dr. Riad Haddad developments in Syria and focusing  on a political solution to its  crisis.

In a statement yesterday, the  Russian Foreign Ministry said that the meeting also dealt with  urgent  issues on Syrian-Russian trade and economic cooperation.

On January 17th,  Bogdanov and Haddad  discussed issues pertinent to  preparations for the consultative meeting which was held  later in the month in Moscow in order to enhance  reaching  a political solution to the crisis in Syria.
