Scores of ‘Islam army’ terrorists killed outside Damascus

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has killed dozens of the ‘Islam army’-linked terrorists in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency said yesterday that two armored cars belonging to the so-called the ‘Islam army’  were destroyed and many of its members  were eliminated in military operations carried out by Syrian army near al-Houda Mosque in Duma area in the eastern Ghouta of Damascus.

A Tunisian terrorist, his name al-Habib al-Sh’atani, and a Palestinian one, his name Basel J’ara, were among the Islam army’s members killed in the operations.

In this context, activists in Duma area said that the death of 36 members of the ‘Islam army’  was announced by the loudspeakers of local mosques.

Clashes north of Duma

More members of the same terror organization [Islam army] were mowed down during clashes with army units in Alya farms north of Duma area.  

Add to that, army units conducted an operation against terrorist groupings on a road linking Erbin and Mdira where 5 terrorists died.

Another operation was carried out by army units in Darayya city and it resulted in the death of three terrorists and destruction of an arms depot. “As many as 28 terrorists were hurt in the same operation”.

In Jobar quarter near Damascus, an army unit targeted one of the terrorist hideouts and killed many terrorists affiliated to the ‘Islamic Union of Ajnad al-Sham’.
