Syrian army expands its control in Hassaka

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has regained control of 16 towns and farms outside Qameshli and has struck terrorist organizations’ sites outside Homs, the official news agency (SANA) said Thursday.

The agency clarified that the 16 towns and farms lie in the southern countryside of Qameshil which affiliates to Hassaka.

It added that army units destroyed several ISIS vehicles with artillery fire and eliminated many terrorists during concentrated operation against terrorist hideouts in al-Badran and Bab al-Kher towns, about 20km south of Hassaka city.

Last night, army units recaptured the eastern edge of Bab al-Kher town and other towns.

In Homs countryside, army units pounded several terrorist hideouts in Talbeseh area and in towns of Salam Gharbi, al-Dwebeh and Em al-Rish, about 80km east of Homs city.
