Rocket attacks kill 5 in Damascus, Aleppo, Lattakia (2)

DAMASCUS,(ST)_Terrorists, holed up in the eastern Ghouta of Damascus, have fired dozens of rockets on urban areas in Damascus, killing 3, the official news agency (SANA) reported Thursday.

The agency quoted a police command source as saying that the terror attacks, which caused damage to several cars and homes, killed at least 3 civilians and wounded over 30 others.

The wounded were admitted to Mowasa and Damascus hospitals.

On January 25, terrorists fired rockets and mortars on Damascus, killing 3 civilians and wounding 38 others.

Takfiri terrorists affiliated to the ‘Islam army’ which is one of al-Qaeda branches spread in the Eastern Ghouta.

Meanwhile, army units struck sites of terrorists in the eastern Ghouta of Damascus from which rockets were fired on innocent civilians.  

As many as 54 terrorists linked to the so-called the ‘Islam army’ were eliminated yesterday when army units targeted their sites in Duma area in the eastern Ghouta of Damascus.

In return to today’s terror attacks, SANA reported that 2 civilians were hurt as two rockets hit al-Azhari area on the northwestern edge of Lattakia city.

The rocket attack left damage to a home and several cars and it was carried out by terrorists holed up in the northern countryside of Lattakia.

Terrorists linked to the al-Nusra Front spread in the northern countryside of Lattakia and receive all forms of support from regional regimes.

A third terror attack took place in Aleppo city where several rockets fell in al-Nil Street, causing material damage to homes and cars.

The rockets were fired by terrorists from Bani Zied quarter in which the Turkish-backed ‘Shohada’a Bader’ militia spread.

The US, France, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Israel support terrorist organizations operating in Syria, according to world media reports.
