Al-Moallem Receives Credentials of New Russian Ambassador to Syria

DAMASCUS, (ST)-  Deputy Premier, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Walid al-Moallem on Wednesday received the credentials of Alexander Alexandrovich Kinshuk  as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Syrian Arab Republic.

Al-Moallem met the new Russian ambassador and talked with him on methods of boosting strategic partnership and cooperation ties between the two countries in the different domains, particularly the economic and political fields.

International developments have proved the importance of this partnership and stressed the need to enhance it to serve the interest of the peoples of the two countries.
