Syrian Arab army kills 23 terrorists plus Chechen, Tunisian, Moroccan mercenaries linked to al-Nusra Front outside Hama and Lattakia

PROVINCES,(ST)_At least 23 al-Nusra Front terrorists plus Chechen, Tunisian and Moroccan mercenaries were killed during today’s military operations outside Hama, Lattakia and Homs, according to military sources.

The 23 al-Nusra Front terrorists were killed when army units targeted the front’s hideouts in Hammadi Omar town, about 73km far away from Hama city, a military source told the official news agency (SANA).

The source added an army unit destroyed a depot containing rockets and killed many terrorists in qualitative operations in Mkin al-Shamali area, about 70km east of Hama.

Terrorists linked to al-Nusra Front spread in the northern and eastern countryside of Hama and target civilians and infrastructure in Hama.

In another development, army units killed the terrorist, Abo Rateb al-Tunisi, plus several members of Takfiri organizations in al-Ghanto and Der Foul towns in Talbisa area, which lies 13 km north of Homs city.

Several terrorist hideouts pounded

Several terrorist hideouts in Edon town in al-Rastan area were pounded by army units a day after killing and injuring many terrorists affiliated to the ‘Homs legion’,  the ‘Ahrar al-Sham’, the al-Nusra Front, the ‘Khalid bin al-Walid’ brigade and ‘al-Farouq’ battalions in the same town, a military source said.

There were also military operations against terrorist organizations’ hideouts in Rhom, Em Sehrej and al-Msherfeh al-Janobeyeh in the eastern countryside of Homs.

Add to that, army units inflicted heavy losses upon ISIS terrorists in al-Jafra town, about 7km far away from Der Ezzour city, and eliminated one of the al-Nusra Front leader, dubbed Abo Tohama al-Chechani, plus a Moroccan terrorists, dubbed Marwan Bo Sh’eb, and a Tunisian one, his name Othman al-Tolan, in towns of al-Wadi and al-Rabe’a in the northern  countryside of Lattakia.  

Further terrorists were killed and several vehicles belonging to them were wiped out in al-Qalamoun area outside Damascus and in several areas outside Idlib.
