Syrian Companies to Take Part in Gulf Food Expo.

DAMASCUS, (ST) – With the participation of 16 Syrian food industry companies, activities of the 20th session of the World’s Biggest Annual Food and Hospitality Show 8- 12 February to be launched at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Secretary of the Federation of Syrian Exporters Mazen Hammour said in a statement that the number of Syrian companies participating in the exhibition are 16 companies within the Syrian pavilion, which covers an area of 175 square meters.

The Export Development Association and the Federation of Syrian Exporters provide support to the participants by contributing to 50 percent of the cost in order to grant the opportunity for a greater number of companies to participate in the exhibition and opening  the prospects of export to these companies particularly the show is one of the most important international exhibitions and the largest in the Middle East and that the participation of more than five thousand companies of 121 Arab and foreign countries.

For his part, Director General of al -Sa’oor Group of Industry and Commerce Frosta Tariq Alsaaour explained that his participation in the Gulf Food Exhibition is the fourth, pointing out that many markets for the company’s products were opened, stressing keenness to participate in all food group exhibitions both inside and outside Syria.ز

The Gulf Food Exhibition of the largest exhibitions in the food and hospitality industry in the world and most of its visitors from the merchants and businessmen, where the number of visitors reached more than 80 thousand visitors last year.
