Syrian Clothes Exhibition Opened in Baghdad

DAMASCUS, (ST)- The Syrian Clothes Exhibition “Syria Mod Baghdad,” was opened Sunday in  Baghdad. The event was organized by the Syrian Exporters of Clothing and Textile Association and the Damascus Chamber of Industry in cooperation with the Syrian Exporters’ Federation and the Support and Promotion of Exports Association.

The Head of the Syrian Federation of Exporters Mohammed al -Sawah confirmed in a  statement that the three-day exhibition aims to renew communication with Iraqi businessmen and traders specialists in the field of clothing, textile and brief  them of the Syrian product that the Iraqi market needs, pointing out that the Iraqi markets are drawing from 20 to 30 percent of Syrian textile products.

“Some 85 Syrian specialized companies will participate in the exhibition which will be held in the city of exhibitions in Baghdad on 2500 meters square, pointing out that a large advertising campaign in various media in Baghdad and other Iraqi provinces was launched concerning the exhibition,” Mr. al -Sawah said.
