PSL-Jaish beat Ittihad

DAMASCUS,(ST)-Jaish, the power house club of Damascus, have continued their impressive performances in the Professional Soccer League as they defeated Ittihad 2-0 in the 2nd leg-5th round of the league at the Tishreen stadium in Damascus.

Bahaa Qarout and Abdul Latif Salqini scored for Jaish.

With this win, Jaish lifted up their tally to 30 points.

Elsewhere, Majd lifted up their tally to 24 points as they snatched three precious points from Wathba (1-0) at the Faiha stadium.

Striker Samer Awad scored the winning goal in the 89th minute.

Jableh beat Tishreen 2-1.

Jazeera were held to a goalless draw by Taleeaa at the Muhafaza stadium.
