Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif says the victories achieved by Palestinian resistance groups against Zionist entity have shattered the invincible image of the Tel Aviv regime and its supporters, Press T.V reported.
Zarif made the remark in a Wednesday meeting with Ahmed Jibril, the head of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command (PFLP-GC), in Tehran.
The Iranian foreign minister further reiterated the Islamic Republic’s support for the Palestinian cause against the occupying regime of Israel.
The Iranian top diplomat also censured Israel’s recent attack on Syria’s Golan Heights that killed six fighters of the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah and a general of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC).
Zarif said that the new Israeli aggression was another sign of cooperation between the Israeli regime and Takfiri terrorists.
The Palestinian official, for his part, condemned the Israeli aerial assault against Syria, reiterating that resistance against Israel is the only way to fully restore Palestinians’ rights.
On Sunday, an Israeli military helicopter fired two missiles into Amal Farms in the strategic southwestern city of Quneitra, close to the line separating the Syrian part of the Golan Heights from the Israeli-occupied sector.
