4 hurt as mortars hit Bab Touma and Mazzeh 86 quarters in Damascus

DAMASCUS,(ST)_At least four civilians were hurt as mortar rounds fell in Bab Touma and Mazzeh 86 quarters in Damascus on Friday, according to a police command source.

The source was quoted on the official news agency (SANA) as saying that five mortar rounds, fired by terrorists, landed on the ‘al-Nour’ School and al-Jora alley and near Hammam al-Bakri [public baths] in BabTouma quarter.

Four civilians were wounded in the mortar attack which caused damage to the schools, several cars, shops and houses at the scene.

Bab Touma quarter is located west Ein Tarma town in which Takfiri terrorists spread.

The same province [Damascus] witnessed another mortar attack on Mazzeh 86 quarter.

Two mortar rounds fell in the quarter, leaving material damage. And no one was hurt.

Earlier today, Alikhbaria TV channel reported that terrorists fired mortar rounds on al-Ashrafeyeh quarter in Aleppo city, killing a civilian and wounding 5 others. 

The US, France, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Israel support terrorist organizations operating in Syria, world media reports confirm.
