Syrian Arab army carries out fresh qualitative operations against terrorists outside Homs, Idlib, Daraa

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army reportedly carried out Friday fresh qualitative operations against terrorist organizations outside Homs, Idlib and Daraa where dozens of terrorists were killed and injured.  

The operations targeted terrorist hideouts on the outskirts of al-Sa’en and al-Mesherfeh towns, about 20km north-east Homs, and in towns of Rhom and Enq al-Hawa  in the eastern countryside of Homs, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency added that army units killed dozens of terrorists and destroyed 6 vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns belonging to them on the outskirts of Kafr Tkharim town in Idlib countryside.

Further terrorists were eliminated when army units targeted their groupings in Bosra al-Sham and al-Jiza towns and Daraa al-Balad in southern Daraa province, according to the Syrian TV channel.  

The Alikhbaria TV channel reported that army units clashed with terrorists in refugees camp and targeted terrorist groupings in al-Yadodeh, Tafas, Athman and al-Sheikh Meskin towns in the same province [Daraa].

On the other hand,  some 160 persons including 30 gunmen from the eastern Ghouta of Damascus turned to Syrian army for help, according to the Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV channel.  

The civilians, who fled the terrorist organizations’ acts in the eastern Ghouta, were conveyed to temporary shelter in Daheyet Qedsaya in Damascus countryside.
