DAMASCUS, (ST) – Syrian Exporters Federation recently signed with Sham Wings Airlines a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of transport and air freight in order to support exporters by offering them special discounts on flights and secure the opportunity to transfer their exports by air.
The Head of the Federation Mohammed al -Sawah said that the SEF is keen to seiz any opportunity to support the Syrian exporter, pointing out that the agreement with the Cham Wings would help stimulate exporters to travel and explore export markets.
“The agreement includes discounts and provides first-class service,” he added.
The company’s management said it will operate three flights a week to Beirut on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday evening and be back the following morning of each trip at eight in the morning.
Cham Wings company operates daily flights from Damascus to Qamishli and regular flights to Najaf in Iraq and plan to fly to Baghdad, Dubai, Sharjah, Cairo, and some other cities in Europe soon.
It is said that Sham Wings was founded in 2008 and adopted as a Syria national carrier in 2014.
