Perpetrators of Foroqlos car bombing in Homs apprehended

HOMS COUNTRYSIDE,(ST)_Terrorists have exploded a car bomb at the entry of Foroqlos gas station outside Homs after the station’s protection unit warded off their attack on it, the official news agency (SANA) reported Monday.

The agency quoted a source at Oil and Mineral Resources Ministry as citing that terrorists exploded today morning a car bomb at the entry of the station, which includes the south central region factory of gas and Ebla gas factory, after protection unit clashed with terrorists.

The explosion left casualties and little material damage at the entry of the station, the source added, confirming that the infrastructures of the two factories have not damaged and the factories are still working.

As many as 8 members of the two factories’ protection unit were martyred and several others wounded in the explosion.   

Later on, a military source declared that the protection unit arrested the two terrorists, Abdulkarim Farhan al-Khlawi and Farhan Hamid al-Hajjaj, who exploded the car bomb as they were trying to run away.   

On his part, Homs Governor Talal Barazi declared that the attack on the Foroqlos gas station proves failure of the Takfiri terrorist organizations to make any achievement on the ground.
