PROVINCES,(ST)_Some 9 mortar shells fired by terrorists hit Damascus and its suburbs on Thursday, wounding two children and a young man, according to media sources.
The sources said two children, aged 7 and 13, plus a young man, aged 17, were wounded when a mortar shell fell on a house in Barzeh al-Balad quarter, which lies north Damascus.
The mortar attack caused massive damage to the house and furniture.
Another house in Esh al-Warwar quarter in Damascus was damages as a mortar shell landed on it. No casualties were reported.
7 shells hit Damascus suburbs
In Damascus countryside, terrorists fired 7 mortar shells on Daheyet Harasta suburb and al-Wafedin camp where several cars and shops were damaged. But no one was hurt.
The US, France, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Israel support terrorist organizations operating in Syria, world media reports confirm.
