Syrian Arab army kills over 50 ISIS terrorists in Hassaka, continues operations in Aleppo and Daraa

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has killed over 50 ISIS terrorists in Hassaka countryside, as terrorists reactivate ‘military operation center’ in southern countryside of Aleppo to reduce pressure on their groups in northern countryside of the same province.

According to media sources, Syrian army carried out today a series of qualitative operations against the ISIS sites in al-Shbib and Bab al-Kher towns that lie about 20 km south Hassaka city, killing more than 50 terrorists and destroying several vehicles and hideouts belonging to them. 

The sources added that army units warded off ISIS attack on Tal Ghazal area, around 45km south-east Qameshli city, and killed many terrorists there.

Further terrorists linked to other organizations were killed and injured  as Syrian army targeted their hideouts in Daraa al-Balad, al-Sheikh Meskin, Bosra al-Sham, Tafas, Dael, al-Naemeh and Bosra al-Harir in southern Daraa province as well as in Mashara town in Quneitra countryside.

Terrorists affiliated to more than 11 organizations -al-Nusra Front, the ‘Tawhid al-Janob’ brigade, the ‘Mojahidi Horan’ battalions, the ‘Madfa’eyet Sejjel’ battalion, the al-Mo’ataz Bellah’ brigade, the ‘al-Mothanna’ movement, the ‘Ahrar al-Sham’ movement, the ‘Islam Army’, the ‘al-Yarmouk army’, the ‘al-Ansar and al-Mohajerin’ brigade and the ‘al-Omari’ brigades- spread in Daraa province and directly coordinate with Israel.

Saudi and Qatari regimes provide terrorists with money.

‘Aleppo Revolutionary Council’ asks for help

In northern Aleppo province, gunmen reactivated ‘ military operation center in southern countryside of Aleppo’ to penetrate Khan Toman and Jabal Azzan areas in order to reduce pressure on their groups on Handarat axis in northern Aleppo countryside, according to the Damascus-based al-Watan newspaper.

Syrian army is inching closer to cordon off the city f Aleppo.

The paper indicated that  the so-called the ‘Aleppo Revolutionary Council’ and the ‘Aleppo Revolutionary Federation’ asked the armed groups in the western Aleppo countryside and Idlib suburbs for help.

Protests against food monopolization

As for developments in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus,  al-Watan paper confirmed that there were protests in Kafer Batna, Hammoreyeh and Zamalka towns against the ‘Islam Army’s monopolization of food and selling it at high prices.  

While the Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV channel reported that  as many as 8 ISIS terrorists were killed and 12 others wounded when Syrian army targeted one of the organizations’ sites in Jorod al-Qalamoun area on Syrian-Lebanese border.
