Alexander Kenshak, New Russian Ambassador in Damascus

MOSCOW, (ST) _ Russian President Vladimir Putin yesterday signed a decree provided for appointing Alexander Kenshak as extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Russian Federation to Syria, according to the official news site in the Russian Federation.

 

Worthy mentioning that Syrian-Russian relations have witnessed major developments and qualitative leaps on all political, economic, social and military levels, enabling the two countries to transcend the limits of traditional ties, towards new levels of strategic cooperation and overall coordination of all debated issues, according to a clear and common vision concerning international issues and bilateral issues of common interests.
