Syrian Arab army kills 2 terrorist snipers in Daraa, fortifies Morek surrounding in Hama

PROVINCES,(ST)_Military sources have confirmed the death of two terrorist snipers in Daraa amid intensified strikes against terrorist organizations’ sites in Homs, Idlib and Aleppo.

The two snipers were killed when army units targeted hideouts of al-Nusra Front and allied groups in Daraa al-Balad in southern Daraa province  which is witnessing  unrelenting operations in several towns outside Daraa.

The operations resulted in destroying several hideouts and a bomb-making factory belonging to terrorists in al-Msefra town, about 20km north-east Daraa, and killing many terrorists west Athman town, about 4km north Daraa.

On the other hand, it was reported that dozens of al-Nusra Front terrorists were killed in a car explosion in a field hospital in al-Sad road outside Daraa amid fighting between al-Nusra Front and the ‘Shohada’a al-Yarmouk’  brigade there.

Intensified strikes

More terrorists affiliated to the ISIS organization [its Arabic acronym is Daesh] were eliminated as army units intensified strikes on the organization’s sites in Rhom town outside Homs.

Army units, in addition, conducted a qualitative operation in Hosh Hajjo town in Talbeseh, about 13km north Homs, and warded off terrorists’ infiltration bid from al-Waer quarter into the orchard of the quarter.

In northwestern province of Idlib, army units struck terrorist hideouts on the outskirts of Jabal al-Arba’een and in towns of Ma’arret Mesrin, Hmimat al-Dayer, al-Debsheyeh, Abu Duhur, Sermin and al-Kriz as well as outside Haj Hammod and Qatron farms in Jesr al-Shoghour.

Many terrorists were killed and injured there.

Add to that, Syrian army killed dozens of ISIS terrorists , regained control of Faculty of Agriculture and destroyed 12 vehicles belonging to terrorists in and outside Der Ezzour province. 

Yesterday, there were heavy fighting between army units and armed groups on the eastern al-Ghouta axis outside Damascus, according to the Damascus-based al-Watan newspaper.

Ground operation

The paper added that army units in cooperation with the national defense groups launched ground operation with artillery fire in Zebdin, Jobar, Zamalka, Tal Kerdi and al-Rihan farms on the outskirts of Duma city in Damascus countryside.

While in Ham province, army units engaged in fierce fighting with armed groups and recaptured ‘Tal Melh’ checkpoint outside Mhardeh and fortified Morek surrounding against any infiltration bid by terrorists from Wadi al-Dhef, al-Watan paper confirmed.

328 wanted persons surrender

In a separate development, 328 wanted persons from Aleppo, Lattakia, Homs, Damascus and its suburb surrendered themselves in to competent authorities to regularize their situations in the past two days.
