ALEPPO,(ST)_Aleppo governorate in cooperation with the Syria Trust for Development sent today aid convoy to al-Sheikh Najjar and al-Sheikh Zayyat towns in Aleppo countryside, according to media sources.
The sources indicated that the convoy that set off from Seif al-Dawleh square in Aleppo city contained 1000 food parcels for the people of the two towns, which are located near the industrial city in the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo.
Aleppo Governor, Dr. Mohammad Marwan Elabi, told reporters that the governorate had sent several convoys to the two towns after restoration of stability and peace to them to meet the people’s needs.
“The governorate is keen to offer support and facilities to circles working in humanitarian field in order to guarantee the delivery of aid to people in need and to those affected by the ongoing crisis,” the governor asserted.
