Olympic soccer team hold training camp

DAMASCUS, (ST) – The Olympic soccer team  are currently holding a training camp in Damascus.

The camp is part of the team’s preparation for taking part in Asia Cup qualifiers which will be staged i9n Bangladesh soon.

 

The technical staff of the team have recalled the following footballers to join the camp: Muayad Khouli, Abdulla Shami, Amer Dandashi, Omar Turk, Ahmad Kurdi, Ahmad Sheikh, Ward Salama, Mohammad KazemIssa, Mahmoud Bahra, Muayad Ajjan, Hameed Mido, Omar Midani, Hussein Juwaid, Mahmoud Mawas, Ahmad Qadour, AmerJiniat, Nasouh Nakdali  and other players.

It is to be noted that the Syrian team were drawn in Group E alongside Uzbekistan, Bangladesh and India.
