Israeli aggression and partnership with terrorist organizations

From the very beginning of the crisis in Syria, the Zionist entity has been playing a sinister role in aggravating the crisis through offering the terrorist groups unlimited support including weapons and funds. The attacks launched by the Syrian Arab army against dens and gatherings of the terrorist organizations operating in Syria have disclosed various kinds of Israeli-made weapons given to the terrorists. Moreover, the Israeli occupation authorities have opened make-shift hospitals to treat the wounded terrorists. The UNDOF peacekeepers acknowledged that Israel has been admitting injured terrorists for medical treatment in Safad and Nahariya hospitals. UNDOF observed at least 10 wounded people being transferred by armed members of the opposition from the Bravo side across the ceasefire line. According to recent documents from Israeli hospitals, Israel’s army paid USD 10 million up until September 2014 for the costs of treatment to the foreign-sponsored militants injured during battles with Syrian army, and the money has come from the Israeli military’s budget.

The Zionist entity provides military and intelligence support directly to armed terrorist organizations in Syria through the separation zone in the Syrian Golan, in a grave violation of the Disengagement of Forces agreement and the UN relevant resolutions. The UN observers said in the report that they identified soldiers on the Israeli side handing over two boxes to armed Syrian opposition members on the Syrian side. Tel Aviv has been also training and providing medical aid to the terrorists fighting Syrian government.

The United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) said in the report that Israeli officers and the foreign-backed terrorists have direct cooperation on the Syrian border over the past 18 months.

Many leaders of the so-called free army were also trained at the hands of Israeli military experts in the occupied Arab territories. Some officials in the so-called Istanbul national council boast in the relations with the Zionist entity and the support offered by this entity to launch attacks against their country and people.

The recent Israeli aggression, which targeted two areas in Damascus Countryside, exposes the partnership between Israel and terrorists.

Such aggression against Syria proves Israel’s involvement with terrorist and extremist organizations. The aggression proves Israel’s complicity with the terrorists who seek to destroy Syria and murder its innocent people.

The failure of Israel to make any impact on the southern region by providing support for terrorists and treating their injured prompted the aggression under the false assumption that it can help the terrorists who are waning under the attacks of the Army and Armed Forces. Such acts of aggression will not dissuade the Syrian people and army from continuing its war on terrorism in all its forms across Syria.

The attack comes as no surprise for the Syrians who know that the Israeli enemy will rush to aid its terrorist allies in a bid to raise their morale following the defeats they suffered at the hands of the Syrian Arab Army.

The aggression constitutes further evidence of the alliance between Israel and the terrorists against the Syrians who are committed to combating terrorism and protecting Syria’s independence and dignity. This aggression will only make Syrians more determined to fight terrorism until victory is achieved.

Israel has committed a heinous crime against the sovereignty of Syria as Israeli warplanes attacked two safe areas in al-Dimas and near Damascus International Airport in Damascus Countryside, causing material damage in a number of institutions there.

The Israeli attack also aims at covering up the internal disputes in Israel through diverting the attention away from the collapse of the Israeli coalition government and the extremism of this government, embodied in its continued occupation of the Arab territories and violation of the international legitimacy and law in addition to UN Security Council’s resolutions.

The Israeli paper Haaretz quoted a report recently submitted to the UN Security Council as saying that the Israeli regime’s military has regular contacts with Takfiri militant groups operating against the Syrian government.
