Syrian Arab army kills over 50 terrorists in Daraa, destroys car bomb on outskirts of Der Ezzour airbase

PROVINCES,(ST)_Military sources confirmed the death of over 50 terrorists in Daraa and destruction of a car bomb before reaching military post on the outskirts of Der Ezzour airbase on Friday.

The sources said that army units carried out qualitative and concentrated operations against terrorist hideouts in Tafas and al-Sheikh Meskin towns outside Daraa where more than 50 terrorists were killed and 4 car bombs, 5 vehicles equipped with anti-aircraft guns, 2 weapons-laden cars and a cache of bombs belonging to terrorists were destroyed.

The military Emir of the so-called the ‘Osod Horan’ brigade, dubbed Abo Zakareya, were among the terrorists killed in said towns.

Large numbers of  terrorists linked to the ISIS [its Arabic acronym is Daesh] were also eliminated in a series of successful operations carried out by Syrian army in al-Mre’eyeh and Hwejeh  saker in Der Ezzour province.

A military source declared that a car bomb driven by as Libyan terrorist, dubbed Abo al-farouq, was destroyed by army units before it reached military posts on the outskirts of the Der Ezzour airbase.

Last night, Syrian army killed large numbers of terrorists, including two Saudi and a Moroccan, on the outskirt of the airbase and Hwejet Saker.

In central Homs province, Syrian army destroyed a tractor loaded with weapons belonging to terrorists in al-Rastan cit and targeted terrorists organizations in towns on al-Seltaneyeh and Salam Gharbi in the eastern countryside of the province.

Many terrorists were killed and injured there, according to the official news agency (SANA).

Operations in Damascus countryside

The agency added that army units pounded a terrorist hideout in Kafer Batna and struck terrorist groupings in Jesrin town, which lies east Kafer Batna, in Damascus countryside.

There were also operations against terrorist groupings in al-Hajjareyeh farms near Duma city outside Damascus and in Abu Duhur and al-Debsheyeh areas in Idlib countryside.

Army units, in addition, foiled terrorists’ infiltration bid from Ein al-Bardeh into Ein al-Soda in outside Jesr al-Shoghor in the western countryside of Idlib.
