PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has pounded six terrorist hideouts in Daraa and has eliminated many ISIS terrorists in Homs, media sources reported Thursday.
The sources said that army units destroyed today morning 6 terrorist hideouts in al-Arbaeen quarter, Daraa al-Balad and refugees camp areas outside Daraa from which terrorists fired 11 gas cylinders packed with explosives on quarters of al-Matar and Hettin and the automatic bakery.
Several civilians were hurt by the gas cylinders attack that caused damages to houses and the automatic bakery.
Terrorists affiliated to al-Nusra Front, the ‘Tawhid al-Janob’ brigade, the ‘Mojahidi Horan’ battalion and the ‘Madfa’eyyet Sejel ‘ battalion spread in al-Arbaeen quarter, Daraa al-Balad and refugees camp areas.
Last night, leader of the ‘Madfa’eyyet Sejel ‘ battalion, his name Ramzi Aba Zied, was killed when Syrian army targeted a terrorist hideout in refugees camp area, which lies south-east Daraa city.
Another terrorist hideout in Mse’ed town, about 15km far away from Syrian-Lebanese border- was obliterated by Syrian army today.
Terrorists’ strongholds in Homs targeted
In central Homs province, Syrian army killed many terrorists linked to the ISIS [its acronym in Arabic is Daesh] and destroyed weapons belonging to them in Rhom town, about 105km east Homs city, and struck terrorist organizations’ strongholds in al-Waer quarter in the city of Homs.
Rhom town, which is located at the administrative boundaries of Homs province and south-west Raqqa province, is one of the ISIS strongholds in the eastern countryside of Homs.
