Syrian Arab army expands its operations in Homs, delivers decisive blows to terrorists outside Damascus

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has carried out a series of concentrated operations against al-Nusra Front sites in the southwestern countryside of Damascus and against the ISIS sites in the eastern countryside of Homs, media sources reported Wednesday.  

The operations synchronized with targeting the terrorists’ supply routes in several areas in Daraa countryside and destroying weapons and munitions belonging to them in Nab’a al-Sakher town outside Quneitra.

In details, Syrian army carried out concentrated operations against al-Nusra Front  sites in Der Maker town in the southwestern countryside of Damascus and delivered decisive blows to terrorists in Drosha farms in Damascus countryside.

A military source was quoted on the official news agency (SANA) as saying that many terrorists were killed and injured in the said towns and weapons plus vehicles belonging to them were destroyed in Drosha farms.  

More terrorists affiliated to the ISIS [its Arabic acronym is Daesh] were eliminated during qualitative operations against their sites on the outskirts of Jabal al-Shaer in the eastern countryside of Homs.

In the same province [Homs], Syrian army mowed down many terrorists in Rajm al-Qaser, al-Msherfeyeh al-Janobeyeh, about 80 km east Homs city, and in Beit al-Nabhan in Talbeseh as well as in al-Waer quarter.

Terrorists’ movements paralyzed in some areas in Daraa

While in Daraa province, terrorists exploded many car bombs and buildings in al-Sheikh Meskin town after Syrian army paralyzed their movements in several areas.

Terrorists linked to al-Nusra Front and the ‘Ahrar al-Sham’ Movement spread in al-Sheikh Meskin town and receive all form of support from the Israeli enemy.

Foreign mercenaries infiltrate via Jordan border into the said town to fight alongside the terrorists .

In Quneira province, Syrian army destroyed weapons belonging to al-Nusra Front terrorists in Nab’a a-Sakher town , about 16km far away from the city, and eliminated many terrorists on the outskirts of al-Ajraf town, which affiliates to Khan Arnabeh town.

In the northwestern province of Idlib, many terrorists were killed in Qminas town as Syrian army targeted their groupings there.
