Aid convoy heads for Idlib’s Maaret al-Noaman countryside

IDLIB,(ST)_Aid convoy of 12 trucks set off on Monday towards the eastern countryside of Ma’arret al-Noaman in Idlib, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency clarified that the trucks, which are carrying 3000 food parcels and hygiene kits, are sent by Idlib governorate in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC).

Idlib Governor, Khereddin AbdulSatta, declared that the convoy comes within the aid being offered by government to citizens in all areas to alleviate their suffering.  

On his part, Head of Relief Committee in the SARC branch, Mohammad Hamidi, said that several convoys recently set off towards the northern countryside of Idlib in accordance with a program and requirements defined by the Relief Committee in the governorate.
