Army command: Zionist occupation’s attack on peaceful areas in Damascus countryside proves its involvement in supporting terrorism
DAMASCUS,(ST)_ The Israeli enemy committed on Sunday afternoon a heinous attack by targeting two peaceful areas in Damascus countryside causing material damages to some buildings, the Syrian TV channel reported.
It clarified that Israel targeted peaceful areas in al-Dimas and near the Damascus International airport, stressing that no one was hurt.
“Israel’s direct attack comes after Syrian army has recorded important victories over terrorist organizations in Der Ezzour, Aleppo and other areas,” the General Command of Army and Armed forces said in a statement released today.
It added that the attack proves Israel’s direct involvement in supporting terrorist organizations in Syria and aims at raising the morale of terrorist organizations, including the Al Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra Front and the ISIS, that have received successive blows from Syrian army.
“Such acts of aggression will never dissuade Syrian army from going ahead with fighting terrorism across Syria,” the statement concluded.
59 meetings held between terrorist ringleaders and Israeli officers
In a relevant context, A report released by the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) unveiled that 59 meetings were held between the terrorist organizations’ ringleaders and Israeli officers from March 2013 to May, according to the official news agency (SANA).
As many as 89 wounded terrorists were admitted to the Israeli hospitals during this period.
The report clarified that the relation between the two sides began in March 2013 when the Israeli occupation received wounded terrorists in its hospitals, in addition to setting up a field hospital for them in the occupied Golan.
Israel reportedly has spent more than $14.000.000 to treat the wounded terrorists admitted from Syria .
On Monday, the Israeli TV channel 2 acknowledged on its website that ‘two wounded terrorists’ were admitted from Syria to Nahariya Hospital in Galilee, while another one was admitted to Poriya Hospital.
