Governor of Lattakia Debating with Two Delegations from the United Nations Refugee Organization the Reality of the Affected Families…and Terrorist Mortars on the City, on the Other Hand

LATTAKIA, (ST) _ Ibrahim Khddr al-Salem, the governor of Lattakia, met two delegations from the United Nations Refugee Organization, where the meeting included: search for conditions of the affected families and inhabitant ones in shelters.

Mr.al-Salem confirmed during the meeting on the role of International Humanitarian Organizations in providing the assistance to the affected families, pointing to the importance of putting the plans and necessary programs by civil society to put appropriate mechanisms to estimate the needs of families in shelters, addition to cooperation and coordination with Unicif to promote the reality of education and restoration of damaged schools.

While the head of delegations stressed that the provision of aids is constant, asserting that following the reality of families and children is through the assessment of their needs by the civil organizations.

On the other hand, the city of Lattakia witnessed the fall of several rockets in Bostan al-Basha area, which follows the countryside of Jabla.

The terrorist mortars wounded three people in addition to material damages in many houses.
