Our Brave Captain
President Bashar Hafez Al-Assad of the Syrian Arab Republic embodies not only the aspirations, ambitions, and dreams of the Syrian People, but those of every human being worldwide. In his recent Paris Match interview, President Al-Assad spoke on behalf of every freedom fighter , every bereaved and wounded, every anti-terrorism human worldwide. The words uttered by H.E. do have every meaning and implication summarizing the Syrians’ pride, bitterness, steadfastness, sadness, determination and strong will for progress and light, not darkness and backwardness.
It has been President Al-Assad’s brave defense of Syria and Syrians against terrorism, which characterized the ongoing crisis since its onset: ”there is no choice but to defend” the Syrians against terrorists and there was ‘no other choice, citing the painful fratricide of the ewes: ‘had Qatar not paid money to those terrorists at that time, and had Turkey not supported them logistically, and had not the West supported them politically, things would have been different.’ Indeed it has been an international alliance of terrorism and terrorists from more than 80 countries against the Syrian honor, heritage, history, geography and every Syrian thing! H.E. Led us heroically and bravely against the Wahabi, Turkish, French, US, Israeli supported and groomed up terrorism.
H.E. stated that the largest number of victims in Syria is among the supporters of the state; yes Your Excellency, the majority of Syrians have always been loyal to the homeland, and most of the terrorists fighting us are Saudis, Jordanians, EU citizens, Chechens and the like. The Syrians throughout history have been tough fighters in defense of their honor and pride, mainly embodied in President Al-Assad’s noble, courageous and human captainship, which has never let us down, never run away and left us to Daesh’s black death, rape, torture and beheading. Daesh ‘(ISIS) was created in Iraq in 2006. It was the United States which occupied Iraq, not Syria. Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was in American prisons, not in Syrian prisons’.
H.E. President Al-Assad has been giving many pieces of advice to all as to fight and rid the world of the scorpion of terrorism. Actually the great leader, the father of the nation, Hafez Al-Assad spent most of his lifetime not only to regain the rights, achieve just peace, but also to fight terrorism dispatching envoys worldwide in the eighties for this purpose. President Al-Assad is the pioneering champion of fighting terrorism in the region as well as the entire world. Others know that the Syrians have saved the lives of their co-nationals. To what extent, others would benefit this time from President Al-Assad and Syrian hero Army and people’s sacrifices, particularly those who have been bringing up the scorpions of terrorism in their bosoms! Terrorism is an ‘ideology’ and can never be defeated by ‘merely cosmetic’ alliance’s airstrikes. ‘terrorism cannot be destroyed from the air, and you cannot achieve results on the ground without land forces who know the geographical details of the regions and move in tandem with the airstrikes….But we are the ones fighting the battles against ISIS on the ground,’
The Eye-Doctor President precisely and accurately diagnosed international relations, pro-terrorism alliances, citing the Turkish, Saudi, Qatari destructive role, the French against Syria, ‘American effort to make the French government influence the Syrian role, particularly in relation to Iran. The second side was a result of Qatar urging France to improve relations with Syria. So, the good relations with France had American and Qatari motives and were not the product of an independent will. Today, there is no difference since both administrations, I mean those of Sarkozy and Hollande, are not independent.’ The current French administration is ‘acting equally against the interests of our people and against the interests of the French people. As for him considering me a personal enemy, I don’t see the logic of that. I’m not competing with Hollande for anything. I believe that Hollande’s competitor in France now is ISIS, because his popularity is close to that of ISIS.’ Thanks Your Excellency, President Al-Assad, your interview made us sure more and more about the close victory against every rotten terrorism and evil! Yes, ‘when did the Americans say anything true about the crisis in Syria?’
H.E. President Al-Assad transparently as ever and objectively stated some personal facts, which characterize only the Syrian President, living in every Syrian heart: ‘traveling is not one of my hobbies anyway; and my visits were not for tourism, but for work.’ ‘What I truly miss is Syria as it was’, ‘we miss the existence of a different world, a world which has logical and moral relations’, Mrs. Asma Al-Assad, 
like all Syrians, she feels pain. Both of us feel pain for the destruction and the blood we see in Syria, to see Syria going backwards decades and not years. It’s painful to see the country which used to be one of the top five countries in the world in terms of security become a safe haven for terrorists. It is also painful for both my wife and I to see our belief that the West will help us in our bid for development and openness go in the opposite direction, and what is even worse, to see the West having allies among these medieval states in the Gulf, like Saudi Arabia and Qatar.” ”… how can people who believe or say they are defending God and Islam kill and murder? …Why does the West launch an aggression against us, and why does it support terrorists and destruction?
By God as well as by your dedication to Syria and Syrians, none whoever might be ‘can win the hearts’ of the majority, the running blood, arteries and veins are but pro-Syria Al-Assad.
