The sources clarified that terrorists fired two mortar rounds on al-Wafidin camp north-east Damascus, killing two civilians, one of them was a 9-year-old boy.

More two children were wounded by the mortar fire which also left damages at the scene.

On October 16, a mortar round hit a house in Tishreen quarter in the same area [al-Wafidin camp] where a mother and her 3-year-old daughter were wounded.

Other mortar attack occurred in Homs city when tow mortar rounds fell in al-Ghouta quarter, wounding four civilians.

Al-Ghouta quarter is located near al-Waer quarter where terrorist organizations hold thousands of civilians as human shields and target the safe nearby quarters with mortar rounds and missiles.
