Syrian Arab army destroys car bomb in Der Ezzour, engages in heavy fighting with terrorists in Daraa

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army destroyed on Wednesday a car bomb driven by Libyan terrorist in Der Ezzour city and involved in heavy fighting with terrorists in Daraa city, according to media sources.

The sources said that an army unit destroyed today at dawn a car bomb before reaching a military post in al-Rosafeh quarter in Der Ezzour city.

“The car was driven by a suicide bomber, dubbed Abo Hozayfah al-Lybi , of Libyan nationality,” a source at Der Ezzour told the official news agency (SANA), confirming that dozens of terrorists were killed and injured there.

It added that army units carried out a qualitative operation against the ISIS terrorists [ known as Daesh terrorists in Arabic] in al-Sena’a quarter and eliminated many terrorists affiliated to the same organization [Daesh] in al-Sheikh yasin quarter in the eastern edge of the city.

The ISIS terrorists perpetrate inhumane crimes against civilians that contradict their Takfiri thinking .

Last month, the terrorists beheaded 10 civilians in Der Ezzour, including muezzin in Hjin town for apostasy.

Back to developments on other fronts, SANA reported that many terrorists were killed and injured in several contested areas outside Daraa, Idlib and Homs.

There was also heavy fighting between Syrian army and terrorist groups  in Tariq al-Sad quarter [road of the dam quarter] in Daraa city, according to the Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV channel .
