Cabinet discusses problems of ensuring water, power and gas

DAMASCUS,(ST)_Prime Minister has underscored that the problems of ensuring gas cylinders and heating oil will be solved gradually, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency quoted Dr. Wael al-Halqi as saying in the cabinet’s today session that the services in water, power and gas sectors reached a low level last week because of the repeated terrorist attacks and unfair economic blockade on Syria.

He asserted the need for putting new buses into service to solve the problem of transportation.

In addition, the premier referred to the escalation of media war against Syria that aims at undermining the Syrian state’s capabilities, urging the national media outlets to confront the mislead campaigns and unveil them.

Deputy Prime Minister for Services Affairs Eng. Omar Ghalawengi briefed the cabinet on efforts being exerted to improve services in sectors of transport, drinking water and oil. “Services in power sector are gradually improving,” he said.
