PSL-5th round-Jaish beat Ittihad 1-0

LATTAKIA, (ST) – Jaish, the power house club of Damascus, have beaten Ittihad 1-0 in the Professional Soccer League 5th round at the Jableh stadium.

Bassel Mustafa scored the winning goal in the 20th minute.

 With this win, Jaish topped the table with ten points.

Elsewhere, Majd, the Damascus-based club, continued their impressive performances as they edged out Wathba 2-1 at the sporting complex stadium in Lattakia.

Former international Raja Rafi’ and Sameer Awad scored for Majd while Ali Ghusun scored his side’s solo goal.

With this win, Majd lifted up their tally to nine points behind Jaish.

Tishreen outplayed their neighboring club Jableh 3-0 at the Bassel stadium.

Striker Mustafa Sheikh Yussuf put his side in the lead in the 20 minute. Mohammad Marmour made it 2-0 in the 60 minute. Khalid Kurdaghli wrapped up the series of sensational goals in the 71 minute.

Abdulla Shami’s stunning goal gave his side Taleea an emphatic 1-0 victory over Jazeera at the sporting complex stadium in Lattakia.
