PSL-4th round: Jaish beat Jableh

LATTAKIA, (ST) _ Jaish, the Damascus-based club, have edged out Jableh 1-0 in the Professional Soccer League 4th round at the sporting complex stadium in Lattakia.

Striker Khalid Kojali put his side in the lead in the 3rd minute only to lift his side’s tally to seven points.

 Elsewhere, Ittihad beat Taleaa 2-1 at the  Jableh stadium.

Early in the first half, Ittihad’s midfielder Mohammad Ghabash put his side in the lead .

Taleaa notched up the equalizer in the 40th minute through Salah Humeish .

International Mohammad Mido hit home in the 55th minute.

Taleaa then mounted attack after attack to level the score but to no avail.

With this win, Ittihad moved up to the fifth place with only four points.

At the Bassel Stadium, Majd beat Jazeera 2-1.

Bashar abu Khashreef and Raja  Rafi’ scored for Majd (45-70) while Juan Ibrahim scored the solo for Jazeera (44).

Earlier, Tishreen drew with Shurta 1-1 at the sporting complex stadium  in Lattakia.
