Syrian Arab army kills leader in Khorasan group in Lattakia plus 23 al-Nusra Front terrorists in Daraa

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has killed one of the al-Qaeda-linked Khorasan group’s leader in Lattakia plus 23 al-Nusra Front terrorists in Darra, military sources declared Tuesday.

A military source was quoted on the official news agency (SANA) as citing that a leader in the Khorasan group, Abdullrahman Islamove (dubbed Abo Horayra al-Kazakhestani), plus a leader in the ‘al-Mojahedin’ army- dubbed Abo Moslemah al-Chechani- were among terrorists killed today when Syrian army targeted al-Nusra Front groupings in al-Kart and Ein al-Beida in northern countryside of Lattakia.

Several vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns belonging to terrorists were destroyed in the said towns, the source confirmed.

Meanwhile, Syrian army pounded several terrorist hideouts in Sheikh Meskin town and other towns in the northern countryside of Daraa where at least 23 al-Nusra Front terrorists died.

A military source indicated that one of al-Nusra Front leaders, Abdulrahman al-Sedyawi (dubbed Abo al-Darda’a), were among the terrorist killed there.

More terrorists were reportedly eliminated as Syrian army targeted terrorist organizations in several areas outside Homs and Idlib.

In another development, Syrian army warded off terrorists’ attacks on some garrisons on the outskirts of Jabal al-Arba’en in Idlib and on al-Baath city, a checkpoint in it and al-Hereyeh town in Quneitra countryside.
