DAMASCUS,(ST)_Some three mortar rounds, fired by terrorists, have hit al-Maysat Square and the ‘Baghdad’ and the ‘al-Thawra’ Streets in Damascus, a police command source declared Monday.
The source clarified that the mortar round, which fell near a school on the outskirts of al-Maysat square, did not explode.
Earlier, a woman was hurt when two mortar rounds landed in the ‘Baghdad’ and the ‘al-Thawra’ Streets in the capital [Damascus].
On November 3, terrorists fired 20 mortar rounds on Bab Tuma, Bab Sharqi, al-Qassa’a, Rekneddin and al-Tadamon quarters in the same province [Damascus], killing 2 civilians and wounding 30 others.
The US, France, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Israel support terrorist organizations operating in Syria.
