Mohammad takes bronze in Thailand

Bangkok, (ST) _ Salih Mohammad, the outstanding Syrian swimmer, has finished third in the 10- km long- distance swimming race in the Phuket island of Thailand.

Earlier, Mohammad took a bronze medal in the 5 km long-distance swimming race.

It is to be noted that Mohammad captured two gold medals in first edition of the event which was held in Indonesia 2008 .And he also took (1 gold, 1 silver) in the 2010 games which was staged in Muscat, Oman.

MithqalJirmani, who is also taking part in the said event , finished third in the kwasrch contest (81 kg).

Approximately 6000 athletes representing 45 nations are taking part in the Phuket Games.
