Syrian Arab army wards off attacks on military posts in Daraa, kills dozens of terrorists

PROVINCES,(ST)_Military source has confirmed the death of dozen of terrorists, including non-Syrians, trying to attack army posts in northern countryside of Daraa on Sunday.

The source clarified that the terrorists tried to attack military posts in Tal Erid, Ein Afa, Ein Afa hill and surrounding  of al-Fqe’a and al-Dali towns in the northern countryside of Daraa.

It added that many terrorists were eliminated in Sida, Jiza, Athman, al-Naemeh and al-Sheikh Meskin towns.

The Takfiri terrorist organizations acknowledged through social networks that 15 members from what they called the ‘Islamic and fighting battalions’ were killed during operations carried out by Syrian army in Daraa countryside and al-Sheikh Meskin town.

Meanwhile, it was reported that many terrorists were killed in several areas outside Homs,  Idlib and Damascus countryside.

The Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV channel said Syrian army ambushed gunmen belonging to the ‘al-Khadra’a’ battalion [Green battalion] in Jrod Esal al-Ward in al-Qalamoun area outside Damascus, killing 5 gunmen and wounding 15 others.

It indicated that Syrian army warded off infiltration bid by armed groups in Jrod Flita in the same area [Qalamoun] where many gunmen were killed and injured.

YPG recaptures 4 towns in Hassaka

In Hassaka countryside, the Kurdish people’s protection units imposed control over towns of Emir, Tolan, Nouh and Abo Bakr after they attacked the ISIS sites [known as Daesh sites] south Ra’as al-Ein which lies west Tal Tamr.

Sources told al-Mayadeen TV channel that clashes continued around Alya mills on Tal Tamr-Aleppo road and south Ra’as al-Ein.
