Syrian Arab army redeploys in Daraa, kills dozens of terrorists in Homs, Der Ezzour and Idlib

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has redeployed in Nawa area outside Daraa and killed dozens of terrorists in Homs, Der Ezzour and Idlib, according to military sources.

A military source said today that army units redeployed in Nawa city outside Daraa in preparation for the forthcoming fighting there, confirming that death of 8 terrorists west Tal al-Kheder in northern countryside of Daraa.

The source added that army units pounded terrorist hideouts in towns of al-Sheikh Meskin, Dael, Ibta’a and Tafas where large numbers of terrorists were killed.

Other hideouts for terrorists were obliterated near Maerdabseh, Dadikh, al-Hbit, Maaret al-No’aman, Bserjeh, Korin Sermin, Qmunas farms and south Jabal al-Arba’een in Idlib countryside.

Many terrorists were killed and injured in the said towns and in al-Sheikh Yousef town in the same province [Idlib] as well as on Rastan-Ghajar road and in Eb al-Ghajar, al-Rastan lake, west al-Zara, Khattab al-Msherfeh and al-Wdehi towns in Homs countryside.

Elsewhere, Syrian army killed many terrorists belonging to the ISIS organization [its Arabic acronym is Daesh] in al-Karetah area in southern countryside of Der Ezzour and destroyed an arms cache for the same organization in al-Jbeleyeh quarter in Der Ezzour city, according to the official news agency (SANA).

Strikes against terrorists on border crossing

While the Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV channel reported that Syrian warplanes struck ‘gunmen’ groupings in Martabeyeh and al-Zemrani crossings and east Esal al-Ward in al-Qalamoun area outside Damascus where many gunmen were killed and injured.

The strikes were preceded by foiling gunmen’s infiltration bid into Wadi al-Sehrej in Jorod Esal al-Ward in al-Qalamoun area.

Later on, it was reported that the Lebanese army arrested Head of the Free Army’ military council, Abdullah al-Refa’ee, who was dressed as a woman, at Hamid checkpoint in the border town of Arsal.
