Explosion rocks Damascus suburb, leaving casualties

DAMASCUS SUBURB, (ST)_Terrorists exploded on Friday a car bomb in al-Kesweh area in the southern countryside of Damascus, leaving casualties, a police command source declared.

The source was quoted on the official news agency (SANA) as saying terrorists exploded a car bomb at square of al-Tiba town in front of the ‘Abo Baker’ Mosque in al-Kesweh area as worshipers were performing Friday prayer.

“Many civilians were wounded and seven cars were damaged in the blast that caused damages to the mosque,” the source confirmed.

Last Monday, terrorists detonated an explosive device attached to a car in the ‘al-Jam’eyeh’ street in the western edge of al-Kesweh, wounding two children plus the car owner.
