Syrian Arab army launches qualitative operation in Qalamoun area outside Damascus

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has launched a qualitative operation against armed terrorist groups in Jorod al-Jebeh in al-Qalamoun area outside Damascus, according to media sources.

The operation resulted in destroying an artillery for terrorists and wounding dozens of terrorists in parallel with airstrikes carried out by Syrian warplanes on terrorists’ sites on Syrian-Lebanese border.

Many terrorists were killed and wounded and several vehicles belonging to them were wiped out in the airstrikes.

In another development, Syrian army targeted terrorist groupings on the outskirts of Khan al-Sheih in Damascus countryside and in Tal al-Duhur in Quneitra countryside as well as in Daraa al-Balad and Qerfeh town in Daraa countryside.

Military sources confirmed the death of many terrorists in the said areas and in Em al-Mayathen and Sheikh Meskin towns outside Daraa.

An arms cache belonging to terrorists was destroyed in Bosra al-Harir in the same province [Daraa].

Infiltration bids

Elsewhere, Syrian army obliterated several terrorist hideouts outside Homs and Idlib and foiled terrorists’ infiltration bids from Jabal Zamlet al-Moher into hills of al-Rawda and Dhuhur Abo Nakhleh in Homs countryside.
