6 shells hit Damascus and its suburb, killing mother and wounding 4 civilians

PROVINCES,(ST)_Some six mortar rounds fired by terrorists have hit Mnin town in Damascus countryside and Bab Tuma quarter in Damascus, killing a civilian and wounding 4 others, according to media sources.

The sources said today that a mother was martyred and her daughter wounded when three mortar rounds landed in Mnin town in Damascus countryside.

“The mortars hit near the ‘al-Seddeq’ mosque and in Jabal al-Ein quarter in the town,” a police command source declared, adding that several houses were damaged by the mortar attack.

More three mortars fell in Bab Tuma quarter in Damascus, wounding at least three civilians.  

Yesterday, terrorists fired 20 mortar rounds on Bab Tuma, Bab Sharqi, al-Qassa’a, Rekneddin and al-Tadamon quarters in the capital [Damascus], killing 2 civilians and wounding 30 others.

The US, France, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Israel support terrorist groups operating in Syria, world media reports confirm.
