Media source: Syrian government provides comprehensive support including military assistance to Syrian Kurds

DAMASCUS,(ST)_ Media source has underscored that Syrian government has offered comprehensive support to the Syrian Kurds to confront the terror organization Daesh [IS].

The source declared today that the Syrian government has offered known, documented and comprehensive support, including direct and indirect military assistance, to the Syrian Kurds.

The remark came after some Syrian Kurdish figures denied that Syrian government provided support for the Syrian Kurds to confront the Daesh [known as IS or ISIL or ISIS in foreign media reports].

National commitment

“The Syrian government’ support is based on its national commitment towards its people all over Syria,” the source added.

It asserted that Syrian government’s stance will never change whether some figures deny that or not and whether they are satisfied with it or not.

“The ideas which some Syrian Kurdish figures put forth will be to no avail in the light of the commitment of our Syrian Kurdish people to national unity and state’s sovereignty as well as to rejection of foreign dictations.”

“The principle of rejecting foreign intervention in national affairs must be one and the same. Those who reject Turkish intervention must reject any other intervention too,” the source concluded.
