PROVINCES,(ST)_A German terrorist ringleader plus a Libyan terrorist have been among terrorists killed by Syrian army in Der Ezzour province, according to a source at the province.
The source was quoted on the official news agency (SANA) as saying that army units killed many terrorists from the Daesh organization [known as IS or ISIS or ISIL in foreign media reports] during clashes in al-Sena’a quarter.
“A German terrorist ringleader, dubbed Abu Mohammad al-Almani, was among the non-Syrian terrorists killed in the clashes,” the source added.
It added that a Libyan terrorists was eliminated when Syrian army targeted a hideout for the terror organization Daesh [IS] in Hwejet Saker in the same province [Der Ezzour].
30 terrorists eliminated
More 30 terrorists were killed when Syrian army targeted a terrorist groupings in al-Farhaneyeh, Taldo and al-Rastan north Homs, according to the Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV channel.
In addition, Syrian army has struck terrorist organizations in several areas in Aleppo, Daraa and Idlib, killing large numbers of terrorists.
Renewed fighting in Ayn al-Arab
On the other hand, there were renewed fierce fighting in the eastern edge of Ayn al-Arab city [known as Kobani in Kurdish] north-east Syria amid reports of an advance made by the Kurdish people’s protection units into southern areas of the city.
