Allaf excels in Bahrain

MANAMA, (ST) _ Kareem Allaf, the promising Syrian tennis-player, has finished second in the 6th Bahrain International Tennis Tournament (individual contest) after losing to his Saudi Arabian opponent Ammar Haqani in the final.

The3 final result ended in as follows 7-6  4-6 2-6.

 Earlier, Allaf and Egyptian Shareef Makhlouf clinched the title of doubles contest.

En route to the final, Allaf defeated Ali Dwani from Bahrain 6-0 6-2. In the second round, Allaf beat Fares Janahi from the UAE  and beat Egyptian Mohammad Sabri  6-3-3-0 in the quarter final. Allaf also beat Omar Qadi from Egypt 6-1-6-2.

With this marvelous result, Allaf will definitely improve his ranking internationally.
