Ayn al-Arab people push back IS 7km from radio center

ALEPPO,(ST)_People of Ayn al-Arab city north-east Aleppo repelled last midnight IS assault on several sites which the people recaptured in the past few days, local sources said Friday.

The sources added that the clashes between the Ayn al-Arab people and the terror organization Daesh [known as IS or ISIL or ISIS in foreign media reports] lasted until dawn.

The people of the city, according to the sources, inflicted heavy losses upon the Daesh-linked terrorists and launched an attack on a site for the Daesh organization on Aleppo road south-west Ayn al-Arab city.

They also killed many terrorists from the Daesh organization in Menazi town, which is located south-west the city of Ayn al-Arab, and regained control of the surrounding area of Berj al-Eza’a [Radio tower] in the western countryside of the city.

Media sources reported that there are still some terrorists from the Daesh organization behind Tal Ayn al-Arab and Jabal Mashta al-Nour in the wake of the last midnight fierce fighting that forced the terrorists to pull back from the cultural center and the 48 Street.

The terrorists pulled back 7 kilometers west the radio center which is under the control of Ayn al-Arab people.
