Economy Minister: We Aspire to Reorganize Small and Medium Industries
Damascus, (ST) –The Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade, Dr. Humam al Jazairi said: the ministry is working with the Syrian Federation of Exporters to reorganization small and medium industries and linking them to foreign markets and promotion of export.
In a statement to local press, the minister pointed out that this cooperation attracts new flows of foreign exchange in addition to the contributing to the rehabilitation of infrastructure and helping producers to restore the movement of production in the coastal, central, and southern region.
“The Syrian Federation of Exporters is of interest in export industries and the last step of production which requires cooperation, support and encourage to exercise a positive and effective role in activating the wheel of local production and expanding the productive capacities and export“, Dr. al -Jazairi explained.
The Minister clarified that the elections of Chambers of Industry are an important step towards strengthening the partnership with the private sector for the development of the economic structure, productivity and the resumption of development in the cities and affected industrial areas.
